E-Learning

Dear parents,
I received a message from the Catholic school that from November 2nd to November 14 the school will be closed. They plan to reopen on November 16th. We will return November 20th and 21st.
Our Polish school will switch to e-learning during these two weeks. Listening to your comments and concerns that sometimes there is only one computer at home and it is impossible to take part in multiple lessons of two or more children at the same time, we suggest the following schedule:

Friday:

Kindergarten to 5th Grade
5:00 – 6:00
6:00 – 6:15 break
6:15 – 7:00
6th to 10 Grade
7:00 – 8:00
8:00 – 8:15 break
8:15 – 9:00

Saturday:

 6th to 11th Grade
9:00 – 10:00
10:00 – 10:15 break
10:15 – 11:00
Kindergarten to 5th Grade & Bilingual Class
11:00 – 12:00
12:00 – 12:15 break
12:15 – 1:00

Hope this plan works for everyone, especially parents, who have more “users” than computers.
In American school, children have Chromebooks they get from school, and learning is completely different. American schools also have bigger funds for the purchase of various educational programs, which our school cannot afford for obvious reasons. (there are even no such programs available for Polish schools)
Each Teacher will do their best to make the lessons during these two weeks interesting and fun. In some cases, the student may receive a paper to be printed in advance, which will be needed for the lesson. The teacher may also contact you regarding if extra school supplies are needed. (construction paper, crayons, scissors glue, etc.), this is pertaining to the younger classes.
Thank you and I hope we will see you in school in two weeks.
